Christopher A. Ford

Christopher A. Ford, a New Atlantis contributing editor, is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, where he directs the Center for Technology and Global Security.

He previously served as U.S. Special Representative for Nuclear Nonproliferation, and as a Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for arms control, nonproliferation, and disarmament verification and compliance policy. He has also served as General Counsel to the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and as a reserve intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy. He is a graduate of Harvard College, Oxford University (as a Rhodes Scholar), and Yale Law School.
